On Tuesday, October 18, the S.C. Senate will vote on House Bill 5399: the Human Life Protection Act. For the first time in 50 years, the S.C. General Assembly has the chance to significantly limit abortion in our state. This is the most consequential pro-life vote in the history of our state.
With a vote to recede, the Senate would place the strongest pro-life bill in our state's history on Governor McMaster’s desk. This bill ensures the protection of the unborn and their mothers, with narrowly drawn exceptions for rape and incest.
It’s time for Catholics to stand for life once again and ensure our Senators vote to protect the unborn in South Carolina. Click the link below to contact your senator. We must ask them to vote pro-life with a vote to recede: https://bit.ly/3g0GFzt.
